A quality country hotel. The staff were courteous and attentive - always ready with a smile. The rooms are large and facilities clean and well kept. Their good quality food was prepared and presented well. Nothing to do in the sleepy village where it is situated but if you need a comfortable base for business in the area then this is a restful location. I also enjoyed 30 minutes in the sauna and jacuzzi I will certainly stay again if this business trip is repeated

Very comfortable hotel. All was good. However, housekeeper failed to give us soap or towels or sweep our little terrace, where the chairs were not clean. No small bit of landscaping in the rear of hotel rooms. Vegetarian dinner was extremely poor. I should have asked for a refund. Quite dreadful. Otherwise, good breakfast, nice setting. Lovely service, helpful employees.

The only complaint that I had was with the job done by the housekeepers who forgot our coffee supply and didn't clean the dirty dishes on two occassions. That was more than offset by the exemplary friendliness and helpfulness of the reception and restaurant staff as well as the ideal amenities of the hotel including the incorporation of the old monastery, the great breakfast and the size of the rooms.
